About Bolton Deaf Society
Active in the Borough of Bolton for more than 150 years, we are proud to assist Deaf, deafened and hard-of-hearing people through services and activities that add to their lives – opportunities of learning and personal development through informal education; chance of social and recreational activity in an inclusive environment; scope for accessing confidential information, advice and guidance – and onward referral; chance to make friends and enjoy peer support.
We are also committed to helping grow Deaf awareness across the Borough and assist both employers and public service providers in making more mindful provision for D/deaf inclusion.
