Michael Stead
I am the Accessible Information and Advocacy Service Lead and Employment and Enterprise Adviser who has been working in the Deaf Community for over 20 years. I have been actively working to break down barriers and ensure Deaf people’s voices are heard within their community. Being Deaf, I have lived in experience and strong passion to ensure Deaf people are treated equally. I have a degree in Deaf studies and NVQ5 in Health and Social Care. I love being involved in outdoor activities such as mountain biking, paddleboarding and rock climbing.
Fluent in BSL.
